Our investments span around the globe and operate in a wide array of industry verticals including retail, eCommerce, media, and manufacturing.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Associate to evaluate new investment opportunities for their risks and possible returns, driven by detailed financial analysis as well as manage portfolio companies. The professional stepping into this position would work closely with our firm leadership to create, build and analyze financial models for potential acquisitions.The ideal candidate would also be responsible for the creation of internal investment summaries based on third party information in addition to participating in the full length of our M&A process, including due-diligence while assisting in the negotiation of deal terms, and in the financial management of businesses once bought.This is a full-time role, based 5 days a week in our Beverly Hills office.ResponsibilitiesEvaluating new investment opportunities for their risks and possible returns, driven by detailed financial analysisActively participating in and driving the due diligence process when evaluating new investmentsPreparing material for the presentation of investment opportunitiesProviding financial oversight to new acquisitions throughout their transition and integrationRequirementsStrong analytical skills, including knowledge of valuation methodologiesStrong financial modeling, attention to detailFull understanding of financial statementsExperience preparing detailed financial models and company business valuationsIn depth experience forecasting Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and Profit and Loss Statements, including the linking of all 3 statements in one dynamic modelStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective management and prioritization of multiple projectsFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new challengesAbility to meet deadlines and work well under pressureHigh level of professionalism, integrity, discretion and good judgmentGraduate with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, mathematics, finance or economics; MBA preferred4+ years of related work experience in financial services, consulting (restructuring), M&A investment banking or private equity is preferredStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsSalary: $175,000-$200,000 (range dependent on experience) + bonus This position will be based at Regent’s headquarters in Beverly Hills, California.
