Sr. DevOps Engineer (Igaming)

Build secure, high-scale AWS/Terraform infrastructure for real-time systems! Drive zero-downtime CI/CD and critical compliance in a global gaming environment.Location: Remote - open to candidates located in Europe.Core Infrastructure & ArchitectureDesign and implement secure, multi-region AWS infrastructure (using Terraform) to ensure data residency and compliance.Configure Cloudflare for global CDN, DDoS protection, WAF, and edge routing.Ensure systems can handle extreme 10x-20x traffic spikes during peak events.Database, Caching & Real-Time SystemsManage highly available multi-region RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) with robust replication.Implement and manage Redis for real-time data and sessions.Design and maintain zero-tolerance disaster recovery and audit logging for financial data integrity.Design WebSocket infrastructure for real-time betting and live data streams.Security & ComplianceBuild foundational security (IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager) and implement defense-in-depth, including WAF rules and bot protection.Ensure strict compliance with multi-jurisdictional gaming regulations and PCI-DSS requirements.CI/CD, Observability & ExcellenceBuild robust CI/CD pipelines for safe, automated, zero-downtime deployments (blue-green/canary).Implement comprehensive monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus) and real-time alerting for system and financial health.Create essential runbooks, documentation, and internal tooling to drive operational excellence.What You Bring5+ years of DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering experience, ideally in regulated industries (iGaming, fintech).Strong production expertise in AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and Redis.Experience with Cloudflare/CDN, WAF configuration, and PCI-DSS requirements.Expertise in CI/CD, Docker/ECS, and managing real-time systems (WebSockets).Strong networking fundamentals and scripting skills (Bash/Python).Comfortable with on-call rotation and a security-first, self-directed mindset.Bonus Experience: Direct iGaming/sports betting platform experience, multi-region database design, or GDPR/data residency.Why Join Us?The opportunity to bring your expertise and have an impact in a rapidly-growing company.A truly global work environment with colleagues from around the world.A culture that values ambition, creativity, and teamwork.28 days paid time off & public holidays of country of residency if remote
