Sr. Director, Sales

About the Role:The Senior Director, Sales is responsible for managing business with a key retailer, delivering sales and profit targets within allocated budgets. This role oversees sales team performance, growth, and development, while providing cross-functional leadership. In addition to achieving near-term results, the position supports a multi-year growth plan and resource management strategy.What You’ll Do:Deliver annual business targets including net sales, earnings, and shareBuild and execute a multi-year roadmap for salesManage, develop, and grow a high-performing sales teamLead teams in preparing customer plans and budgetsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to drive salesPartner with analytics and operations teams to ensure accurate forecastingAttend and lead key retailer meetings as neededMaintain knowledge of external market factors in partnership with cross-functional teamsProvide critical customer input on go-to-market plans, including new item launches, spend deployment, packaging, etc.What You’ll Bring:10+ years of leadership experience in consumer products, with at least 2 years managing direct reportsStrong understanding of the sales process and cross-functional impact on go-to-market strategiesExperience with mass retailers, key accounts, and eCommerce channelsAbility to leverage insights and category management to drive business resultsDemonstrated ability to hire, motivate, and develop high-performing teamsCollaborative, team-first approach to leadershipStrong strategic agility, business and financial acumen, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIntegrity, clarity, and honesty in all interactionsComfortable in a global, fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteThis is a hybrid position in the Atlanta area.
