This specifically includes feasibility, Production Capacity Planning, Construction, and supporting of logistical planning. This candidate will support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.You WillDevelop manufacturing processes and layouts for efficient product flowDevelop specifications for custom equipment, i.e., RFQ and SOWs Closely collaborate with external equipment integrators on custom automation equipment design Validate and characterize new equipment and fixtures for production implementationCreate detailed manufacturing instructions to document new processes Design manufacturing equipment accessoriesProvides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future requirementsManage internal Lucid Customers, assess needs regarding priorities, deadlines, and quantities, and driving suppliers for on-time deliverablesTrack and manage equipment trials for SOPManage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners, contractors, and vendorsTravel 25-50% to visit suppliers (US and International) You BringBS/MS Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience 2-4 years of manufacturing engineering experience Experience in Program Management / Engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is neededTandem, progressive, blanking, and transfer stampingExtensive aluminum Class A, BIW, and Closures experience with a focus on stamping manufacturingExperience foreign suppliers Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skillsWorking knowledge of current manufacturing techniques in a stamping manufacturing environment. Equipment, tooling, metal stamping, assembly, and testingExceptional oral and written communication skillsEffective skill in establishing and maintaining working relationships with a wide range of individuals from varying economic, social, and educational backgrounds in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical, time management, and analysis skills Must be capable of working with peers, subordinates, supervisors, and management on a multidisciplinary teamAbility to remain current with state-of-the-art technologies and practices related to the metal stamping process as well as developing innovative solutions when necessary Proficient with MS Office- Excel, Project, Word Proficiency in Cad software — AutoCAD, CATIA a plus Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
