You'll own projects end-to-end across our distributed system and mobile appResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable distributed systems using queues, object storage, and SQL/NoSQL databasesDevelop robust backend services in TypeScriptLead the development of our SwiftUI iOS app with Realm and Firebase integrationImplement and optimize OpenAI API integrationsDeliver high-quality code with comprehensive testing, but also know where to take shortcutsTake ownership and thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environmentsPlan and break down complex projects into manageable tasks, with ability to delegate effectivelyQualificationsExperience building distributed systems and working across the full stackFamiliarity with TypeScript and backend developmentFamiliarity with iOS development (SwiftUI preferred)Experience with LLM applications or strong interest in AI/ML technologyCustomer-first mindset with focus on user experienceSelf-motivated problem-solver who can execute quickly with minimal directionExperience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and deployment strategiesPrefers delivering customer value over building perfect systems, with the ability to balance pragmatic solutions while maintaining flexibility for future growthStrong planning and task management skills with ability to prioritize effectivelyA plus if:
