Position SummaryThe Director of Investments will lead the firm’s investment operations and model portfolio governance. This role is responsible for trade oversight, platform optimization, process improvement, and investment committee leadership.

You will work closely with senior leadership to elevate both efficiency and accountability across the entire investment lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Investment Committee and oversee model portfolio construction and updatesImplement and enforce trade execution oversight, reconciliation, and error-prevention systemsDesign and maintain pre- and post-trade error detection frameworksOversee investment research, due diligence, and manager selectionManage investment platforms and explore automation and AI integration opportunitiesCollaborate with compliance to ensure regulatory adherenceContinuously evaluate and improve workflows across investment operationsProduce and present portfolio performance analytics and insights to firm leadershipMentor junior analysts and foster a high-performance, low-error cultureOwn the integrity and evolution of trading and operational governanceQualifications10+ years of experience in investment operations, portfolio management, or institutional investingProven leadership in workflow optimization and error reductionDeep expertise with investment platforms like Orion, Tamarac, or Black DiamondCFA designation strongly preferredOperational experience in RIA, wealth management, or asset management firmsWorking knowledge of trade automation tools (e.
