Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Backup and Storage Specialist for a leading organization in Central IsraelRole Overview: A hands-on infrastructure position responsible for managing enterprise backup and storage environments, supporting critical systems, and ensuring data availability and integrity across large-scale platforms.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain enterprise backup solutions such as Commvault, TSM, NetBackup, Networker, and Rubrik.Perform database and virtual environment backups and restores (SQL Server, Exchange, Oracle, VMware).Deploy and manage central storage systems including HITACHI, IBM, EMC, and NetApp.Conduct performance tuning, design complex storage architectures, and manage SAN environments (Brocade/Cisco).Work across Windows, Linux, UNIX, and VMware ESX environments.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in backup and storage systems.Experience with Object Storage platforms is an advantage.Strong analytical skills, quick learning ability, and a methodical work approach.Proven teamwork skills and experience supporting internal stakeholders.Good technical English for documentation and support.
