This is a unique, high-impact role where your decisions directly influence the company’s efficiency, innovation, and long-term success.Role Overview: The Strategic Buyer Sourcing Lead is responsible for all sourcing activities, aligning them with business objectives to optimize cost, quality, and supplier reliability. This is a standalone role of high strategic importance, requiring both technical knowledge of electronic and plastic components and strong expertise in strategic sourcing. You will collaborate closely with R&D and cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement supports innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute procurement strategies that support organizational goals and foster innovation.Source electronic and mechanical components and participate in component selection alongside R&D teams.Conduct market and supplier analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements.Lead supplier selection processes, including issuing bids, defining evaluation criteria, and selecting preferred suppliers.Establish and maintain long-term strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.Manage multi-year contracts, ensuring efficient execution and optimal pricing.Drive efficiency and excellence across the company’s procurement processes.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing.Proven experience managing purchasing functions and supplier negotiations.Strong technical understanding of electronic and plastic components.Excellent negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and ability to influence organizational outcomes.Ability to operate independently in a critical, high-impact role with direct exposure to the CEO.
