About Funky FoodWe are on a mission to rebuild Australia’s relationship with fresh produce. Our goal is to stop perfectly good food from going to waste, connect consumers directly with the independent growers who feed our country, and make fresh, healthy produce abundant to people who otherwise can’t access it.Our impact is growing quickly: we’ve delivered 550,000 boxes+ containing more than 7 million kilograms of rescued, locally sourced produce. We are bootstrapped and lean, with a management team of 3 and two warehouses across Brisbane and Melbourne that pack and deliver boxes across Australia.About the roleWe're looking for a killer Strategy & Operations Manager to connect the dots across finance, data, CX, and operations — making the whole business more efficient, more informed, and more scalable. You'll report to the CEO and also work closely with the General Manager and Marketing Director. This role sits at the centre of everything and helps shape how we scale.If you’re someone who loves fixing broken processes, making systems hum, and turning data into decisions — you’ll thrive here.Role detailsWe’re looking for someone who’s part analyst, part operator, part systems thinker. You’ll: • Clean up and streamline reporting, finance processes, and data flows • Build dashboards and insights that drive decisions (CAC, LTV, churn, ops performance) • Lead cross-team projects to remove bottlenecks and improve reliability • Standardise workflows and introduce automation where it matters • Deliver strategic priorities end-to-end You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the management team to implement initiatives and ensure benefits are realised.What you'll do• Systems fixes: process design, automation, and cross-functional alignment • Finance reporting rhythms, P&L visibility, better cash flow forecasting• CAC/LTV dashboards, churn analysis, operational metrics• Improvements to CX, working closely with the dev team to project manage new feature rolloutd• Carry out analysis and first-principled thinking to progress key that are highly important to Funky• Lead high-value strategic projects end-to-end across any all areas of the businessWho we're ideally looking forYou might come from consulting, analytics, finance, operations, or a fast-paced startup.
