Job Description

The Student Recruitment Assistant Manager is responsible for driving student applications and enrolments through targeted outreach, effective lead management, and strategic recruitment activities. This role plays a key part in achieving intake targets by managing the full student recruitment cycle, from lead generation to conversion and while ensuring an excellent experience for prospective students and parents. Experience in the education sector is highly preferred.Job DescriptionLead Generation & ConversionTake full ownership of enrolment KPIs, from lead generation to converting leads into student enrolments.Manage first-level conversion activities, including outbound/inbound calls, face-to-face meetings, and scheduling Info and enquiry sessions.Engage directly with prospective students via calls, emails, and in-person interactions to promote courses.Handle objections and resolve stakeholder concerns during the recruitment cycle to maximize conversion rates.Follow up regularly to nurture leads and move them through the admissions pipeline.Partnership & Liaison StrategyLead and manage the implementation of the school’s liaison strategy with partner institutions and international recruitment agents.Develop and execute targeted visit programmes including presentations, workshops, exhibitions, digital outreach, and on-campus activities.Represent the school at education fairs, partnership events, and networking sessions across Asia.Represent the school professionally in all external interactions, serving as a trusted ambassador for the institution.Marketing & EventsPlan and execute recruitment and marketing initiatives, including Info Sessions, education fairs, association collaborations, roadshows, and alumni-related events.Collaborate with Creative and Digital teams to develop marketing materials: brochures, banners, flyers, EDMs, videos, websites, and landing pages.Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with colleges, universities, and overseas agents.Serve as the key liaison for all regional partners, ensuring timely and professional communication.Collaborate with internal teams (Admissions, Marketing, Academic) to align on recruitment objectives.Monitor partner performance and provide updates and recommendations to management.Sales Strategy & Customer UnderstandingExecute conversion and sales strategies effectively to meet enrolment targets.Understand customer and student drivers, motivations, and decision-making processes to influence their enrolment decisions.Provide programme advice to prospective students and parents via face-to-face counselling, email, and phone correspondence.Stay up-to-date on developments in the education sector and student recruitment trends in assigned markets.Qualifications & Experience3–5 years of experience in international student recruitment, partnership management, or business development within the international education sector.Proven track record in sales strategy execution, lead conversion, and stakeholder management.Bilingual in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.Highly motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to dynamic, cross-cultural environments.Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Asia, particularly Southeast Asia.Must be able to work on weekends.
