Are you analytical, curious and ready to work with data, code and complex risk models - right at the core of the energy market? We’re looking for a Student Risk Analyst with an interest in programming and perhaps some experience with Python to help us build, improve and maintain the models that guide risk decisions across Nitor. As part of our Risk Management team, you’ll help enhance our risk models and strengthen the surveillance of risk buffers. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues from Risk, Treasury and Finance to develop systems that cover the full trade lifecycle - from trade entry in our systems, through risk monitoring, to final invoicing. You’ll be joining a team that operates at the heart of the company. We collaborate with front office to maximise business opportunities within risk tolerances and ensure the risks we take are well managed. We measure trade-performance and streamline data pipelines for trade reconciliation in back office. Now, we’re looking for an ambitious Student Risk Analyst to join us on that journey. Your tasks will include Help building and maintaining models to monitor market risk – both at team level and across Nitor as a whole Developing and enhancing models for the Treasury department to monitor risks related to counterparty, credit and liquidity risk Developing sensitivity tools to actively monitor risk sensitivity to various market conditions Contribute to the data model used by Risk Management in Python Assist in monitoring the risk limits set on the business teams and Nitor as a whole Building and maintaining systems for trade reconciliation and optimize on the data flow from trade entry to invoice Take on ad hoc tasks and analyses related to the Risk Management systems What we expect You are enrolled in Economics or similar studies and are about to start your 6th or 8th semesterYou have strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills You have an eagerness to code You have an interest in financial markets and the energy sector You have a winning mentality and are willing to go the extra mile to challenge the status quo What we offer A young, dynamic, ambitious and fun work environment Extensive opportunities for personal development and career growth.
