Substation Automation Engineering & Commisioning

We are hiring: Substation Automation Engineer – Commissioning & Engineering 📍 Location: Bucharest, Romania | 🕒 Full-timeWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Engineer to join a dynamic team in the energy sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-voltage substation automation systems, including SCADA and protection relays, contributing to the full lifecycle of engineering projects from design to commissioning and client support.What you’ll do:Support testing, installation, and commissioning activities using standard engineering practicesPlan and execute commissioning strategies and related documentationParticipate in internal project reviews and risk/design meetingsSupport project managers in contract management, including claims and risk assessmentPrepare technical documentation and assist in proposals and presentationsCoordinate site activities to ensure successful client acceptanceCollaborate with supply chain teams to evaluate technical solutionsMentor junior engineers and share technical knowledgeEnsure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and contractual requirementsMaintain and calibrate testing equipment, support clients with technical issues and trainingYour profile:University degree in Electrical EngineeringProven experience in commissioning and servicing HV/MV secondary equipment (protection relays, SCADA)Experience in electrical substation design and testing proceduresStrong troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and technical reporting skillsClean driving license and willingness to travel frequently within RomaniaFluent English and native Romanian speakerProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent communication, self-organization, and a responsible, independent work styleWhat we offer:Hybrid work modelCompany car5 weeks annual leave + meal ticketsMedical subscription and life insurance3rd pillar pensionShort Fridays (6 hours)Opportunity to work on technically challenging projects with real impactContinuous development through training and mentorshipIf you are passionate about high-voltage substation projects and want to grow your career in a collaborative and innovative environment, we want to hear from you!
