About the RoleAs a Junior Buyer at SUMWON STUDIOS, you’ll assist the buying team in supporting key stages of product development, trading analytics, and commercial planning—with mentoring from senior members of the team.

Trading & Product AnalysisMonitor sales patterns and support with Trading Move On’s to improve product throughput under guidance. Assist managing product recolours to maintain strong commercial appeal and quick turnaround. Support data-driven category or collection planning by gathering insights and helping prepare range recommendations. 2. Product Development & OperationsAssist with sample coordination: tracking approvals, timelines, and internal follow‑ups. Help maintain familiarity with core fabrics and materials, ensuring consistency in selection. Facilitate day-to-day communications with partners (e. g.

Shein), relaying queries and ensuring direction alignment. Provide support for CAD reviews, trade reactions, and other ad‑hoc product tasks. 3. Process & Calendar ManagementContribute to maintaining critical path schedules and help flag potential delays. Support scheduling of meetings and diary coordination to keep workflows efficient. Help prepare presentations and reports to support decision-making. 4. Market Awareness & Competitive InsightConduct competitive shopping and market research to identify trends and opportunities. Share findings with the team to inform product strategy decisions. What You’ll BringStrong analytical ability to spot trends, interpret sales data, and support commercial decisions.

Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Some experience in merchandising, product development, buying assistance, or related roles—ideally in fashion or retail, even as an intern or assistant. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfort using data analysis tools or PLM systems. A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with clear and confident communication skills.
