Partnerships Associate

Job location: Dakar, SenegalAbout the role: We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Partnerships Associate to assist with our growth in the renewable energy sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving sales and partnership initiatives, particularly in the solar and clean energy markets. What you would be expected to do: Research and source new partners. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Drive onboarding of new partnerships and grow existing accounts. Plan and supervise continuous ongoing engagement with partners. Address and resolve partners’ complaints.

Interact with internal cross functional teams to provide partner inventory projections and process partner orders from order initiation to shipment phase. Compile reports on account progress, goals, and projections for stakeholders. Develop a thorough knowledge of partners’ needs and requirements. You might be a strong candidate if you have/are: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or a similar role (experience in renewable energy is a strong plus). Experience in customer relationship management. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.

Good oral and written communication skills in French and English. Data skills and problem-solving abilities. Proven experience in account management with the ability to handle multiple client accounts. Good negotiation skills and presentation skills. Ability to work well in a team with minimal supervision, and people management skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
