Our fleet includes articulated dump trucks, excavators, graders, dozers, heavy transport vehicles, and loaders.About The OpportunityThe Supervisor – Fleet Hire and Logistics provides specialist support to the Plant Operations Manager, General Manager – Plant, and General Superintendent. The role is critical to ensure the smooth, compliant and well-resourced operation of all plant and logistics operations across the division, providing strong oversight, coordination and communication between projects, suppliers and internal teams.In This Role You Will Coordinate, report, audit and review all plant hire and logistics operations. Arrange, order and communicate with relevant parties the hire of internal and external plant assets. Maintain high level of Supervision of logistics drivers, communication with project personnel to ensure plant movements and access compliances are actioned in conjunction with directions from the Plant Operations Manager. Travel to Project sites periodically or as required by Plant Operations Manager to ensure they are resourced adequately. Provide weekly/monthly reports on hire activities and status, revenue forecasts and any new requirements developed. Coordinate fleet allocations including tracking and communication of plant locations, stand-downs and off hires in plant assignment. Coordinate audits of external hire suppliers plant specification compliance. Maintain supplier schedules and details on the intranet and our software system (Workbench). Provide support to the Plant Operations Manager with the creation and maintenance of Plant Build Specifications issues from Project issues including sourcing information.About You Previous experience in the coordination and supervision of Plant/Machinery hire and maintenance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. Proficient in using transportation management systems and/or logistics software Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel. A proactive, personable and safety-first mindset, with the ability to prioritise and adapt.
