If you have a passion for optimizing logistics processes, enjoy collaborating in a fast-paced environment, and want to play a key role in the efficient movement of goods, we invite you to explore the position below and become part of our dedicated team!About the rolePosition is responsible for providing the most logistically efficient process from communication with the transport client – client to the service provider (carrier), as well as monitoring the status during the realization of transport. In this role, you will ensure efficient logistics processes by liaising between clients and service providers.Key responsibilitiesManage customer orders, planning, execution, and deliveriesCommunicate with factories and distribution centers for timely loadingFollow up on orders, adjust transport modes, and ensure cost efficiencyControl carrier orders, monitor routes, costs, and urgencyProvide timely updates and proactive communication with all partiesFollow up on deliveries, update systems, and keep customers informedEnsure information flow among carriers, vendors, and customersHandle communication and ensure timely supplier/customer responsesAddress transport defects and document root causes and actionsValidate orders for invoicing and assist with invoice verificationPrepare and lead during high peak seasons with logistics reportsManage exceptions, claims, and vendor engagement to resolve issuesObtain quotes for customs requests and manage ad hoc processesCommunicate performance results with internal/external partiesYour role is vital to maintaining smooth operations and client satisfaction at Geodis.Position requirementsPreferable (but not limited to) degree from Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Organizational Science, or similar3+ years of experience within supply chain industry or global business organizationExperience in FTL & LTL and courier (small parcels) scopeUnderstanding of the supply chain processAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in English languageProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelFamiliarity with ERP systemsOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
