EMEA Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a global manufacturing company in the search for a Supply Chain Manager to join its production facility in Porto, Portugal.This key site leadership role is responsible for driving service excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the end-to-end supply chain - from order management and planning to procurement, logistics, and team development.Key responsibilities as Supply Chain Manager include:Lead all Supply Chain operations including planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure on-time, in-full delivery performanceOversee inventory and capacity planning, balancing demand with optimal cost and efficiencyManage supplier performance and identify opportunities for sourcing and process improvementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesDevelop and mentor the local Supply Chain team, fostering collaboration and accountabilityDeliver regular performance reports and KPIs to track efficiency, service, and cost optimisationThe ideal candidate profile:Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field5+ years’ experience in a production or FMCG supply chain environment, with proven leadership abilityStrong analytical skills with proficiency in SAP and ExcelExcellent communication and negotiation capabilities, with a hands-on, problem-solving approachProactive mindset with a focus on results, efficiency, and process optimisationFluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are an advantageThis role offers competitive compensation, performance-based incentives, and the opportunity for significant professional growth within a heritage company committed to a growth mindset culture.If you are interested in applying for this Supply Chain Manager role, please register your interest using the link below.
