The ideal candidate performs every day upstream, production and downstream flows to deliver the right goods, in the right time, at the right place with right cost and the best conditions. To achieve these goals, He / She is the main actor to lead and involve internal teams and external partners.In an international context, the Supply Chain Manager has a good vision to prevent any disturbances and avoid over costs by maintaining as much as possible an optimal level of his/her activities. ResponsibilitiesSupport the start of the Plant In collaboration with the project manager: design and set up logistic and transportation processes, install storage infrastructures and handling materials for the plant.SAP and software implementation: the Supply chain manager is the Key User for SAP S/4 HANA (MM, PP, EWM modules) and involved in the trainings for End users. He / She is also Key User of digital solutions for S&OP and manufacturing plan.Involved as Supply Chain representative in local topics (costs control, HR, safety, purchasing, manufacturing). to support local teams and plant director for strategic decisions.Lead the launching of operational activities: set manufacturing plan based on the forecasts, supply raw materials for the first productions, supply production line and plan first shipments for costumers.Operation and manufacturing planInvolved in S&OP process: get the forecast from the different customers and challenge these ones to obtain the best accuracy as possible.In collaboration with Supply chain Director define optimal capacity level and perform the manufacturing plan.Adjust the manufacturing plan according to real demand and changes to always ensure an optimal level of workload.Support project manager in Phase In / Phase out projects.Lead Upstream and Downstream logistic flowsSupport the procurement specialist to supply in the best conditions and the right time all raw materials according manufacturing plan.Manage and follow customer orderbook.Optimize and follow up logistics parameters (MOQ, lead times, safety stocks …) regularly with the team and take the lead on action plan to challenge suppliers when is needed with the help of purchasing team.Support Import / Export specialist for strategic decisions when is needed.Design and follow the storage strategy for raw material and finish goods with the help of warehouse manager.Adjust the transportation strategy according costs evolution and carrier performances to maintain optimal direct cost for the plant.ManagementAs a leader create and maintain team spirit, performance and motivation of all collaborators.Ensure good working conditions for the team (safety, good environment, hierarchy support).Build a road map to ensure continuous improvement and skill progression.Support cooperation inside the team by leading regular internal meeting or discussions.Ensure regular reporting to the hierarchy and communicating on a regular basis.Ensure good budgetary control.Recruit, lead, organise and coordinate the team for now and the future.Group CommunicationContribute to conveying the group culture on the site.Support the implementation of new guidelines and initiatives.Follow continuous improvement guidelines and group requirements for Supply chain activities.QualificationsMaster’s Degree or EquivalentRelevant experience: Minimum 5/10 years in international industrial environments.Analytical and risk management skills:Know to ask the good questions and documents, to analyse them and take a right decision in a short time.Comfortable with the figures.Logistics:Experienced in warehouse management.Know to monitor stock level and logistic parameters.Aware of local safety rules and procedures for warehouses.Transportation: General knowledge about general conditions (Incoterms, container types, ports, legals conditions)Accounting and financial skills:be aware of profitability topics, and cost impacts.Know to define and monitor a budget.General accounting knowledge are appreciated.IT and digital skills:Basic level in Excel (mandatory).SAP is a plus.Management and leadership:Ability to take responsibilities and support the team when is needed.Comfortable to build reports and to share main ideas in a short meeting.Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.Languages:Fluent English.Additional knowledge:Experienced in industrial environment.Available for travel occasionally in a year (Western Europe, Egypt, Georgia, Turkey).
