If you're driven by purpose and motivated to make an impact, we'd love to have you on our team.Role PurposeThe Supply Chain Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the accurate planning, forecasting, and availability of materials to meet operational and production demands. The role focuses on optimizing inventory levels, minimizing waste, and maintaining supply continuity through effective coordination with suppliers, logistics, and internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesReview actual material consumption versus forecasted demand and highlight any deviations to improve forecast accuracy.Lead planning activities for assigned categories or areas in alignment with company safety stock policies and Days of Inventory Outstanding (DIO) targets.Coordinate closely with suppliers and the logistics department to ensure continuous availability of goods.Conduct periodic reviews of Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure data accuracy through collaboration with relevant departments.Develop and manage material plans to maintain optimal inventory levels in line with the annual budget.Identify and track slow-moving and near-expiry items to minimize write-offs and reduce waste.Enhance Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes by incorporating rolling demand forecasts and continuous improvement practices.Support cost reduction initiatives by optimizing operations, reducing OPEX spending, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate pre-builds with line managers and logistics teams to mitigate capacity limitations.Develop and maintain supply plans for assigned finished goods, balancing supply capabilities with demand requirements while considering shelf-life and on-time delivery targets.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Experience:1–3 years of experience in supply chain planning within a leading organization.Previous experience in material planning, demand forecasting, or logistics coordination within a similar business environment.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Solid understanding of inventory management principles and analytical modeling.Core CompetenciesAdvanced analytical, mathematical, and statistical capabilities.High level of attention to detail and data accuracy.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Proven ability to drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
