If so, let's start the conversation.Job Summary: Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced Transportation Route Planner to join our Transportation Operations team.In this critical role, you will be responsible for utilizing company software to establish the daily pickup and delivery plan for the transportation fleet across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT) business regions. You will apply systems-driven geographical information and routing knowledge to maximize fleet efficiency and ensure optimum customer satisfaction.The team you will be joining is dedicated to maximizing on-road efficiencies and maintaining a high level of communication to support smooth daily transportation operations.What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)In this role, you will:Develop and Manage Daily Routes: Create daily route assignments using company software, evaluating incoming pickup and delivery requests to standardize routes and ensure a balanced and productive daily workload for the Drivers.Ensure Compliance and System Integrity: Conduct routine systems maintenance within company routing software (e.g., updating employee numbers, geo codes, service time types) to maintain data accuracy and system integrity, ensuring all routes comply with Road Legislation, Employment Law, business rules, and internal working patterns.Collaborate and Provide Operational Support: Build excellent working relationships with all internal departments and actively respond to Driver and vehicle resource requirements or road problem situations, providing concise, 360-degree interaction with Transportation operations.✅ What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)The ideal candidate will have:At least one year of experience as a Dispatcher or in Transportation Planning.Strong knowledge of geographical information systems and the proven ability to apply routing knowledge to daily planning for maximum fleet efficiency.Fluency in English is a must, with an advanced level in French, Spanish, or German considered a plus.Proven ability to be a flexible team player, comfortable with rotational working hours and days off.What We Offer (Benefits)Opportunities for Continuous Learning and professional growth, preparing you for a digitalized future.Comprehensive Health, Wellness, Plans.Ready to drive efficiency and optimize global transportation routes?
