Job SummaryWe are looking for an L1/L2 Support Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft or Linux systems and a solid understanding of authentication, certificates, or security technologies. The role focuses on supporting PKI environments, authentication systems, and core infrastructure services. Candidates from Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with stable work histories are highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide L1/L2 technical support for PKI, authentication systems, and security-related platforms.Troubleshoot issues related to digital certificates, certificate authorities (CAs), CRLs, and PKI components.Support and maintain authentication services such as ADFS, WAP, OAuth/OIDC, and Entra ID.Handle user access, permissions, and directory tasks within Active Directory environments.Configure, support, and troubleshoot IIS applications, bindings, sites, and application pools.Assist in managing containerized environments using Docker or Kubernetes.Support virtual machines and environments hosted on Azure or VMware.Troubleshoot network, firewall, and connectivity issues in coordination with the infrastructure team.Analyze system logs to identify root causes and assist with incident resolution.Perform basic SQL queries and assist with database-related troubleshooting.Execute and read PowerShell scripts to support automation or diagnostic tasks.Work with HSM (Hardware Security Modules) such as Thales Luna or Fortanix.Collaborate with higher-tier engineers on complex issues and escalations.Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.Provide excellent customer support with a focus on accuracy, quality, and timely service.RequirementsMust Have2–5 years of experience in technical support, service desk, or systems support roles.Strong knowledge in Windows Server or Linux administration.Hands-on experience with Active Directory (users, access, basic structure).Familiarity with PKI concepts (certificates, CAs, CRLs, signing, encryption).Understanding of authentication technologies such as ADFS, OAuth/OIDC, WAP, or Entra ID.Experience troubleshooting IIS applications or web services.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially with logs and incident diagnosis.Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, and connectivity troubleshooting.Experience working in an IT support or MSP environment.Stable career history (minimum 2 years in one role).
