Job DetailsDescriptionWhat We Offer:Starting wage based on previous experience6.5 paid holidays per yearApproximately 10 days of PTO within first yearFull slate of benefits to include health, dental, vision, and 401kGrowth and wage increase through company paid certification programEssential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and guide staff to ensure consistency in performance and improve efficiencies within the Clinic.Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, ensuring timely patient services.Evaluate staff performance and provide additional training as necessaryAssist staff in their essential responsibilities, as necessaryProvide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staffPerform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager and doctor(s)Education And/Or ExperienceHigh school graduate or equivalentPrevious medical office experience is requiredPrevious experience in ophthalmology is preferredOne year of supervisory experience is requiredCompetenciesExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsDecisive leadership with above average judgmentDetail oriented, self-starter, with strong organizational skillsAble to effectively sustain multiple, simultaneous tasksAbility to lead, motivate, and promote a team environmentAbility to build and maintain good rapport with the doctors, staff and patients, and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulnessProactive, adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure to accomplish projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environmentPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (per ADA Guidelines)Physical Activity: Standing for sustained periods of time, Talking, Hearing.Physical requirements: Light work.The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform each activity.Personal DevelopmentStaff members are required to meet training expectations within the initial 90-day orientation period.Obtaining certification in ophthalmic field is encouraged.
