We are seeking a Sustainability Management Specialist to take a pivotal role in ensuring the certification and ongoing compliance of biomethane plant sustainability systems.This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of sustainability, operations, and regulatory compliance — and wants to contribute directly to the growth and integrity of renewable energy assets.Key ResponsibilitiesManage relationships with relevant Control Bodies and certification authoritiesCollect, analyse, and archive operational and sustainability data to support regulatory requirementsPrepare all necessary documentation for authorities, certification bodies, and suppliersWork closely with Plant Managers on input/output matrices, register completion, and production summary reportsMaintain, update, and continuously improve the Sustainability Management SystemReview and update procedures required to maintain the biomethane sustainability certificateOversee register control and prepare summary reportingManage documentation and compliance tasks linked to incentive schemes, coordinating with authorities and suppliersSupport monitoring plan compliance across operating plantsCandidate ProfileBachelor’s degree from an accredited universityMinimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles within industrial or production environmentsStrong understanding of sustainability topics and product certification processesAdvantageous: experience implementing or documenting management systems (quality, environment, sustainability)Skills & CompetenciesExcellent analytical, organisational, and communication skillsProactive, motivated, and eager to learnHigh attention to detail; structured and flexible working approachStrong team player who contributes actively to shared goalsExcellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plusLocation & TravelMilan-based roleAvailability for short business trips when requiredWorking HoursFull-time, Monday to Friday
