The company specializes in solving device and data interoperability and management challenges, primarily for the power utility industry. Their work integrates cybersecurity, operational technologies, and distributed systems to deliver robust and secure solutions.The System Architect works closely with the Account Manager to develop and maintain long-term business relationships with clients — including senior managers, VPs, technical supervisors, and engineers. This role provides technical expertise, solution design, and ongoing guidance to customers to ensure their business and technical needs are met.The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and passionate about excellence. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across technologies, engineering teams, and customer types. The System Architect reports directly to the Director of Global Services.Location: Remote position based in Mexico City (or another city near an international airport).Salary: 5,000 - 6,000 (USD, According to experience)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop technical account sales strategies for new and existing opportunities within the assigned territory.Contribute to product specifications and ensure alignment with customer requirements.Create abstracts, white papers, and technical documentation.Deliver technical training and workshops for customers.Collaborate with Account Managers to identify and generate new opportunities for products and services.Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve issues effectively.Act as the on-site solution expert, ensuring high-quality end-to-end project delivery with minimal supervision.Manage customer relationships using technical and business acumen to address inquiries, concerns, and future plans.Gather and analyze customer technical environments, architectures, and pain points.Translate business and user requirements into precise system requirement specifications.Jointly develop project plans with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful solution implementation.Provide technical leadership in business development activities, including product demos, RFI responses, and RFP/RFQ support.Execute implementation, installation, commissioning, and customer instruction services for substation and enterprise-level solutions.Own project test plan aspects, including creation, performance, and customer acceptance.Support training program development through creation and enhancement of technical courses.Requirements:Hard Skills:Expertise in Windows domain design, configuration, and administration.Strong experience in networking design, configuration, and administration.Strong background in database design, configuration, and administration.Experience with Microsoft SharePoint installation, configuration, and administration.Business and commercial experience in enterprise environments.Nice to Have:Proficiency in SCADA communications (DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus).Hands-on experience with SCADA devices (protective relays, communication processors, terminal services).Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Fiddler).Working knowledge of substation transmission and distribution communication architectures.Soft SkillsStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to influence, negotiate, and persuade effectively.High standards of integrity and professional ethics.Quick learner with adaptability and resilience in complex environments.Creative problem solver with a proactive mindset.Knowledge and ExperienceExperience in the Electric Utilities Transmission industry (strong asset).Demonstrated success in enterprise solution sales involving products and professional services.Proficient public speaking and presentation skills.Project management experience and business insight.Authorized to travel domestically and internationally.Location: Remote position based in Mexico City (or another city near an international airport).
