Talent Acquisition SpecialistNorth York$25-27ph (3 months temp with opportunity to go permanent)Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Talent AcquisitionPartner with leaders to build proactive recruitment and retention strategies that support growth.Translate workforce plans into clear hiring roadmaps with defined metrics.Identify talent gaps and recommend data-driven solutions.Recruitment OperationsManage full-cycle recruitment for 10–12 roles at a time with a focus on speed and quality.Source talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, and campus partnerships.Maintain strong candidate pipelines via networking, career fairs, and digital outreach.Track and report key hiring metrics (time-to-fill, conversion rates, candidate quality).Employer Brand & Candidate ExperienceChampion employer brand across all candidate touchpoints.Partner with Marketing/HR to create impactful content (career videos, spotlights, success stories).Deliver an engaging candidate journey from job posting to onboarding.Lead career fairs, social media initiatives, and community partnerships to boost visibility.Stay on top of market and competitor trends in wireless and retail talent.Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementCoach hiring managers on structured, unbiased interviewing.Partner with HR Ops and L&D to support seamless onboarding and retention.Promote DEI best practices in hiring.Contribute to HR projects and process innovation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in retail Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and HRIS platforms.Skilled in situational and behavioral interviewing.Creative, data-driven recruiter with a passion for talent attraction.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
