Job SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various roles within the Banking and Finance sector. This position requires strong industry knowledge, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to recruit for specialized and high-demand positions. The role involves handling end-to-end recruitment, building talent pipelines, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End RecruitmentManage the full recruitment cycle from job briefing, sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlisting, and final selection.Develop job descriptions and role profiles specific to the banking and finance industry.Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and ensure timely feedback.2. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline ManagementSource qualified candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical roles such as Credit Analysts, Relationship Managers, Financial Advisors, Compliance Officers, and Risk Specialists.Conduct proactive market mapping to identify potential talent pools.3. Candidate AssessmentScreen and assess candidate suitability based on technical skills, financial sector knowledge, and cultural fit.Conduct competency-based interviews and evaluate candidates using structured assessment methods.Coordinate assessments, psychometric tests, and background checks as required.4. Stakeholder ManagementPartner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment insights.Offer guidance on talent availability, salary benchmarking, and market trends within banking and finance.Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external recruitment agencies (if applicable).5. Employer BrandingSupport employer branding initiatives to attract top talent in the finance industry.Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and industry-specific networking sessions.Create engaging recruitment content to promote career opportunities.6. Compliance & DocumentationEnsure the recruitment process adheres to organizational policies and local labor laws.Maintain proper documentation of candidate interviews, screening results, and hiring decisions.Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.7. Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports, including pipeline status, hiring progress, time-to-fill, and other KPIs.Analyse recruitment data to identify challenges, trends, and opportunities for improvement.Present insights to HR leadership and hiring managers.Qualifications & RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.Experience3–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 2 years focused on Banking & Finance roles.Prior experience hiring for positions such as Credit Control, Audit, Investment, Treasury, Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Operations.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements.Excellent sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals and talent databases.Proficient in MS Office and HR systems (ATS).Soft SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
