We are a global team of 400+ developers, QA engineers, project managers, and UX/UI designers with offices in New York City and Vietnam.Our LATAM hub is expanding rapidly, and we are hiring a Talent Recruiter in Buenos Aires to strengthen our network of top-tier technical contractors across the region.Role OverviewThe Talent Recruiter will lead full-cycle recruitment for LATAM-based technical contractors, with an emphasis on talent markets in Buenos Aires, Argentina and São Paulo, Brazil.You will blend local presence with digital sourcing to build long-term relationships with developers, technical PMs, and other tech talent. This position requires regular in-person networking as well as strong online recruiting abilities.Travel Requirement: Occasional travel between Buenos Aires and São Paulo is required to attend developer conferences, events, meet candidates, and establish Agility IO’s regional presence and brand as a top workplace for engineering talent.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle LATAM Engineering RecruitingOwn the end-to-end recruitment process for technical contractors.Understand each role’s requirements, timelines, bill rates, and client needs.Collaborate with leadership, sales, and development managers on hiring priorities.Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline ManagementProactively source talent across Central and South America, with priority markets in Buenos Aires and São Paulo.Build and maintain a regional database of developers, PMs, QA engineers, and other tech talent.Keep pipelines organized with accurate statuses and notes.Use creative sourcing strategies including Boolean searches, referrals, events, and targeted outreach.Local, On-the-Ground Recruiting (40%)Attend and represent Agility IO at meetups, conferences, tech events, bootcamps, coworking spaces, and community gatherings.Build strong relationships with local engineering communities, universities, and talent groups.Increase brand awareness and become the local point of contact for candidates in Buenos Aires and São Paulo.Online Recruiting, Offer Coordination & Onboarding (60%)Conduct first-round interviews to assess communication, high-level technical depth, cultural fit, and availability.Schedule and coordinate technical, cultural, and client interviews.Guide candidates through interview preparation, expectations, and next steps.Manage the offer process from verbal confirmation through contractor agreement signing.Collect required documentation (IDs, invoicing details, W-8BEN, etc.).Coordinate handoffs to development managers and project teams.Ensure smooth setup in tooling and communication channels for new contractor starts.Required Qualifications2+ years of recruiting experience (ideally tech or agency).Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter/Sales Navigator, Boolean search, GitHub, niche platforms).Comfortable attending in-person events and networking.Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus. Highly organized and able to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously.Experience conducting high-level technical screens or willingness to learn Agility IO’s framework.Ability to travel between Buenos Aires and São Paulo.Preferred QualificationsExperience recruiting in LATAM or for distributed teams.Familiarity with contractor structures, invoicing, and international hiring.Existing networks within the Buenos Aires developer community.Who You AreA relationship-driven recruiter who thrives in fast-paced environments.Someone who enjoys engaging with local communities and being out in the field.Organized, reliable, and comfortable working across time zones.Excited to help top talent connect with meaningful projects and support Agility IO’s LATAM growth.
