Our culture is unique, with our 5,000 Qimates making decisions every day based on our Qima Values.Job DescriptionQIMA's Tax Team ensures compliance with local and international tax laws while optimizing the company’s tax position. We handle tax planning, reporting, and risk management, working closely with other departments to drive efficiencies.As Tax Manager, Your Responsibilities Will Be ToLead global tax strategy and planning for a multinational organization, aligning with business goals and risk tolerance.Oversee corporate income tax compliance and accounting (ASC 740/IFRS), including provision, return filing, and effective tax rate management.Manage transfer pricing policy creation and documentation; coordinate benchmarking studies and responses to tax authorities (BEPS/CfC considerations).Navigate international tax regimes (CIT, VAT/GST, withholding taxes, MDRs) and ensure compliant cross-border structuring and repatriation.Direct tax risk management and controversy support: audits, disputes, penalty relief, and effective tax risk assessments.Lead tax governance, policies, documentation (policy manuals, tax risk registers), and tax reform impact analyses.Coordinate with regional tax teams; ensure consistency, data integrity, and timely reporting across jurisdictions.Handle M&A tax aspects: due diligence, structuring, integration, post-merger tax synergy tracking, and divestitures.Manage indirect taxes, customs duties, transfer pricing adjustments, and international payment tax withholding strategies.Drive tax technology and data analytics (ERP integration, tax automation, data room readiness, tax provisioning tooling).Partner with finance, legal, FP&A, and external advisors; communicate complex tax concepts clearly to leadership.Develop and mentor tax professionals; build succession plans, training, and performance management.Preferred qualifications: CPA/CA, Master’s in Tax or LLM in Tax, 8+ years in global tax, multinational corporate or Big Four experience.QualificationsBS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience7+ years of tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporationAble to work independently under time pressure, prioritize a high workload, and meet strict deadlinesPossess excellent attention to detail, organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a remote environmentTeam player with a positive attitude and open mindset, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work in a dynamic environment
