Job Description

Teach for Thailand is a nonprofit organization committed to more equitable and just education opportunities for children in Thailand. We want to better Thai education, one classroom at a time. And we do this by partnering with communities to develop a network of leaders through our Fellowship Program. What We Do: We develop leaders to improve educational opportunities for children in Thailand through our 2-year Fellowship Program. In the Fellowship Program, we recruit, develop, and place people from all backgrounds to teach in underserved schools for two years.

During this time, Fellows learn through firsthand experience and grow their leadership skills by collaborating with stakeholders in schools and communities. After their experience, graduates of the Program are empowered to drive positive changes in Thai education and beyond. Whether they carry on as teachers, become policymakers, start their own social enterprises, or work in the public or private sector, they are able to affect change in different ways. The Role: Fundraising DirectorTeach for Thailand is at a pivotal moment of growth and impact expansion.

Over the next 5 years, we aim to increase our funding base, expand strategic partnerships, and deepen our influence across sectors to drive systemic change in education. As our Fundraising Director, you will be at the forefront of this growth, leading the charge to raise at least THB 70M THB annually, mobilize high-profile champions, and secure transformative partnerships that fuel our mission. You will build and lead a powerhouse team that drives funding, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector collaboration, ensuring that Teach for Thailand is positioned as a leading force in education and social impact.

Your success will be defined by growth in funding (15% YoY increase), deepening multi-year partnerships, securing public-private collaborations, and strengthening Teach for Thailand’s presence across key sectors - education, business, philanthropy, and government. Key Outcomes for This Role:

Achieve a 15% revenue growth in FY2025 by securing 100% of the FY2025 organization budget (THB 70M)Secure 40% of the operational budget for FY2026 (THB 18M) by Quarter 4 of 2025Maintain a 95% donor renewal rate and increase new donor conversion from 8% to 25%Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Development:

Developing and overseeing a strategic plan to increase revenue generation of our funding streams (corporate, foundation, and public sector) through diversification of our funding base (increases of at least 15% annually depending on scale)Develop, deliver, evaluate, and continually refresh partnerships strategy in order to secure necessary resources (financial and in-kind) for the organization to execute the programEngage current partners through different levers in a creative and systematic way with the result that ~95% of current partners renew their support (ie, establish corporate volunteering program and etc)Identify, research, and design effective engagement funnels to move new potential donors from awareness to commitment with a ~25% conversion rate for new donors.

Public Sector Engagement: Engage and build relations with the local (provincial) and national government (ie, Local Administrative Units, Ministry of Education, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration etc) to explore and secure funding of teachers' salaries. Team Management: Hire, lead, and develop team members, ensuring a high-performing and motivated culture. Build a strong team culture to ensure that the Partnerships Team is a stretch yet sustainable place for every team member to work with the goal of retaining high-performing team members over the next few years.
