Job Responsibilities :Plan and Preparedness - Contingency Plan # Disaster Risk Reduction / Disaster Mitigation PlanBuild capacities of NGOs, CBOs, Youths and other key stakeholders on Disaster preparedness / Disaster MitigationCarry out disaster risk assessment # Hazard Risk Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA) in disaster hotspotsDevelop plan for reducing the damage caused by natural hazards such as floods, droughts and cyclonesIdentify vulnerable location and mobilise community in very high and high climate vulnerable districts for programme interventionConduct trainings for community / stakeholder in Disaster preparedness / Disaster MitigationCoordination with grassroots / community stakeholders for effective implementation of the standard operating procedures based disaster preparedness / disaster mitigationConduct capacity building for selected individuals(volunteers) in the areas of Disaster Risk. Build the partnerships with various stakeholders for effective implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction The DRR team members in the State to keep track of the weather advisories that are circulated in case of an extreme weather event. For Disaster Response all team members that are based out of districts in the State are the Main Point of Contact.
