The roleJoin City Beach as our Technical Business Analyst and play a key role in shaping our retail technology. You’ll help deliver and enhance our core business systems, including Point of Sale (POS), Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM), and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP.You'll discover opportunities for change, streamline processes, and support seamless system integrations that enhance the City Beach experience from retail stores through to head office.Your core responsibilities:Partner with stakeholders across Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, and eCommerce to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.Analyse and document current processes, workflows, and data flows to support effective solution design and delivery.Collaborate with wider teams to ensure system configurations, integrations, and enhancements align with business goals.Support testing activities including UAT planning, execution, and resolution of issues to support project delivery.Assist with deployment readiness, cutover planning, and post go-live support for system initiatives.Work closely with developers and architects to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integration across platforms.Support data migration and validation activities to ensure integrity across connected systems.Maintain clear and accurate documentation including user stories, process maps, and technical specifications.Contribute to change management and governance processes to ensure quality, traceability, and alignment with business priorities.Identify risks and improvement opportunities, helping to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.What you'll need:3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within retail or a fast-paced consumer environment.Solid understanding of retail systems and processes including POS, product lifecycle, pricing, inventory, and fulfilment.Experience delivering tech solutions such as POS, PIM/MDM, or ERP platforms (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).Strong knowledge of integrations including APIs, EDI, and master data flows.Confident in gathering and documenting requirements through user stories and process mapping.Experience in testing, UAT support, and cross-functional delivery.Clear communicator who builds strong relationships with both technical and business teams.Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Figma, or Visio is a plus.The benefits:Access to a free Employee Assistance Program7% Medibank Private discountGoodlife Health Clubs & Fitness First Gyms membership discountsRetail partner discounts through Rest Super on food, beauty, health, fashion, furniture and technology productsEnjoy a 40% team member discount for you, your friends and family to access.Endless progression and career opportunities across all departments in Head Office, Retail Stores and our Distribution Centre.Birthday and work anniversary celebrations and shared lunches.Social work drinks every Friday night!Join an iconic Australian fashion retailer as the Technical Business Analyst!
