As a Technical Lead – People Systems, you will play a critical role in driving the technical execution of our People Technology roadmap, which is aligned to key HR strategies such as:Modernizing Core HRIS Infrastructure – through optimization of SAP SuccessFactors and its integration across the employee lifecycle.Driving Seamless Digital Experiences – by connecting HR with Finance, IT, and enterprise platforms via secure, scalable integrations.Enabling Data-Driven HR Decisions – through enhanced system configuration, analytics capabilities, and operational reporting.Scaling with Automation and Self-Service – to support a hybrid, agile workforce model across the business.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, delivery partners, and business stakeholders to ensure that HR systems are secure, scalable, and future-ready — enabling the wider organization to attract, develop, and retain top talent effectively.Job SummaryWe are seeking a technically strong and solution-oriented Technical Lead – People Systems to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our HR technology landscape, with a core focus on SAP SuccessFactors. This role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of HRIS/HCM processes, ensuring seamless integration with boundary systems (e.g., payroll, finance, identity management, and productivity platforms).The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with business process insight, acting as a bridge between HR, IT, and third-party vendors to drive technology-enabled HR transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipLead the technical roadmap, solution architecture, and system configuration for SAP SuccessFactors and related HR platforms.Own the end-to-end technical design for modules such as Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Recruitment, and Learning.Guide and review the development and configuration of system enhancements, workflows, rules, and reports.HRIS Process & System IntegrationDesign and maintain end-to-end HCM workflows, including onboarding, job changes, performance reviews, and exits.Ensure robust integration between HR systems and boundary systems (e.g., payroll engines, finance systems, IAM platforms, time/attendance tools).Oversee middleware (e.g., SAP CPI,Workato) and API-based integrations.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with HR business partners, IT teams, vendors, and functional SMEs to gather requirements and propose scalable solutions.Translate business requirements into technical deliverables with clarity and efficiency.Governance, Risk & SupportEnsure systems comply with security, audit, and data privacy policies (e.g., PDPA, GDPR).Act as L3 escalation for production issues; guide support teams for root cause analysis and resolution.Lead change management efforts, including documentation, release planning, and impact assessments.Requirements & QualificationsEducation & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.SAP SuccessFactors certifications (Employee Central, Integration) are highly preferred.Experience6–10 years of experience in HR technology, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.Proven expertise in SAP SuccessFactors implementation and support.Hands-on experience with HR system integrations (APIs, middleware, real-time sync, batch processing).SkillsStrong understanding of HR processes and HCM best practices (hire-to-retire, position management, org design).Technical proficiency in data models, metadata frameworks, integration tools, and reporting (e.g., People Analytics, Ad Hoc Reports).Solid problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred AttributesFamiliarity with other systems:SuccessFactor, Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, Azure AD, payroll systems, or learning platforms.Experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery environments.Passion for people-tech innovation and enterprise-scale transformation.
