Tech LeadLocation: Stockholm, SwedenEmployment Type : Full time, permanentAs a Tech Lead at my Stockholm-based client, you will be ensuring high-quality code is being written and exemplary development processes are being followed, while remaining hands-on building & further improving the platform on a daily basis. The scalable backend systems are built with Java, AWS is used for hosting in the cloud, Docker & Kubernetes for containerization, and the large-scale frontend application is built with React/TypeScript.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite, review, and maintain clean, well-structured Java code. Lead and mentor colleagues by sharing your technical expertise. Take technical ownership of projects end-to-end, supporting the product development process from concept to delivery. Collaborate closely with teammates, sharing ideas, giving feedback, and solving problems together. Contribute to system architecture and help shape the long-term technical vision. Ensure features work reliably and meet customer needs. Remove obstacles, keep the team aligned, and ensure timely delivery. Skills and Qualifications:At least 7 years’ experience in software development, ideally with experience from product development. Strong experience with Java or equivalent technology. Interest in working with Java, as that is our core technology. Experience reviewing code, giving colleagues in development feedback, and making technical decisions. Experience with taking the lead on technical development initiatives, having responsibility for delivery, and coordinating work with other developers or dev teams. Ability to help translate high-level requirements into concrete technical solutions.Good communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to both developers and non-developers. Fluent in English.
