Our long-term Client is an internationally renowned organisation, with a brilliant reputation for innovation and quality. They are involved in design, documentation and overseas manufacture of market leading equipment and maintenance services to the building industry throughout Australia and New Zealand.Presently they have a potentially 3-6 month contract with immediate start for a Technical Officer at their conveniently located office in Port Melbourne Vic 3207About the roleResponsibilities involve the compilation of detail engineering documents and drawings used in the production and scheduling of mechanical and electrical/electronic component. Additional functions include the preparation of Bill of Materials for ordering, manufacturing and supply of equipment utilising advanced spreadsheet design tools and CAD packages.About the personCandidates will need to demonstrate highly developed communications skills (both verbal and written) as well as the flexibility to work independently or as part of a wider team of engineering design professionals from the Sydney headquarters, coordinating with branch offices in Brisbane (WFH is available after initial orientation period) Related experience may have been gained in a manufacturing or production background, along with familiarity of SAP or similar ERP software and of course fluency in all current Microsoft Office applications.To submit your application in strict confidence, click on the 'apply' button.
