Technical Presales Engineer

Job Title: pre-Sales Engineer Position SummaryThe Pre-Sales Engineer acts as the technical expert and bridge between the sales team and the client. This role involves understanding customer requirements, designing technical solutions, and presenting technology proposals that align with customer objectives. The ideal candidate will have both strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, with a passion for helping clients solve complex business challenges using modern IT solutions.Key Responsibilities• Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose suitable IT and network solutions.• Design and present technical solutions involving products and technologies from Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, VMware, HP, and others.• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions to customers.• Develop detailed proposals, bill of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.• participate, including responding to RFPs/RFQs and creating technical documentation.• Collaborate with internal engineering teams for solution design and deployment planning.• Stay updated with emerging technologies and vendor certifications.• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.• Act as a trusted advisor to customers for network, security, and digital transformation initiatives.Qualifications & Job Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.• 1-3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Technical Account Manager in an IT or system integrator company.• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, virtualization and communications technologies.• Hands-on experience or certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, VMware, or other.• Excellent personal appearance, communication, and customer-facing skills.• Ability to translate technical features into business benefits for clients.• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and passionate about new technologies.• Command of English language (both written and spoken).Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)• Experience with email security, endpoint protection, and security awareness solutions (e.g., KnowBe4, Sophos)• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).• Previous experience in solution design, system integration, or managed services.Please send your CV to the following email (Hrdepartement@mwc.ly)
