This is the world of Smarter Freshness.What The Role DeliversManagement of all service activities throughout New Zealand to ensure products and services are delivered in a timely manner, at a competitive cost, to the full satisfaction of internal and external customers.Participation in the development of operating strategies for each business unit, monitoring operational efficiency through performance indicators and establishing a culture of continuous improvement.Work together with the wider NZ team to maximise the potential for all products and services in New Zealand.Key ResponsibilitiesIn order of relative importanceImplement and co-ordinate service activities throughout New Zealand, across all business unitsDefine and manage necessary resources to fulfil services efficiently, including the recruitment, coordination and management of temporary contractorsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to assist commercial team in maximising potential salesPerform services (applications, installations, calibrations, fruit testing etc) as requiredDevelop and maintain training content, ensure all employees and contractors are properly skilledSupport proper documentation, archiving and compliance to corporate requirements and regional standardsManage claims related to Service performance issuesSupport inventory management processes throughout New Zealand, including stock counts, management of slow-moving stock etcResponsible for metrics related to service activities and continuous improvementSupport other operational and commercial activities as requiredWho To Work WithPrimary internal and external stakeholdersCustomers (both key contacts and their cool storage and packhouse staff, distributors)Sales/Account Management teamSupply chain/Customer service External vendors and temporary contractorsHow We WorkAgroFresh core competencies – those in italics apply for people leadersAccountability for ResultsMindset for GrowthCustomer CentricityOne AgroFreshOwns the TalentWhat The Job RequiresOrganizational skillsTeam worker with leadership competencies Ability to work across departmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProcess improvement drivenQuick learnerWhat To Have Done And Know How To DoThese skills and experiences are highly desirable; however, they do not preclude exceptions based on an individual’s performance history and demonstrated potential.
