This role is ideal for individuals looking to expand their technical knowledge while gaining hands-on experience in the hosting and IT industry.About VoltHostingFounded on July 22, 2018, VoltHosting is a UK-based hosting and managed service provider dedicated to delivering exceptional support to our customers. We offer a range of services, including website hosting, game server hosting, virtual private servers (VPS), and comprehensive managed IT solutions. As a small, customer-focused team, we prioritise providing outstanding service and fostering growth within the tech community. What You’ll Do:Provide support via live chat, tickets, and optionally phone callsAssist customers with Windows, Linux, cPanel, and Plesk-related issuesSupport game server hosting and virtualization platformsTroubleshoot general IT issues and escalate when necessaryLearn and develop skills in systems administration, development, and moreWhat We’re Looking For:Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systemsExperience with cPanel and PleskUnderstanding of virtualization (e.g., KVM, VMware, Proxmox)Preferably experience with game serversGeneral IT knowledge and troubleshooting skillsMust be 18+, reside in the UK, have the right to work in the UK, and be willing to sign an NDASomeone willing to contribute approximately 10 hours a week (flexible)Perks & Incentives:Upskilling & Training: We may cover the cost of courses, certifications, and examsFree or discounted VoltHosting servicesFree security tools: Password manager, VPN, and endpoint securityOpportunities to earn commissionsOther perks & opportunities for growthThis is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain industry experience, and grow within VoltHosting.
