This role fulfills the technical documentation requirement with current market requirement in terms of technical manuals for troubleshooting procedures, alarm rectification, error code description writing. This role will steer the external partnering and get the work done according to RR guidelines.Key AccountabilitiesAnalysis and Support for Guided troubleshooting procedure writing for engine and systemsDevelop and approve the technical content of technical publications/communications including acceptance limit development for guided trouble shooting, interactive trouble shooting, Error codes.Coordinate and execute technical writing creation steering with external partnering (India, Singapore, China, Japan)Quality checking and coordination of projects with partneringCoordinate with Cross functional teams for content developmentCreate and update style guides for multimedia contentSteer external partnering to get done the graphic creation work.Basic RequirementBachelor’s degree in Electrical, mechanical, Electronic, Automation, Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5-7 years experience in technical writingKnowledge of components/ systems functionalityMinimum 5 years’ experience in technical writing in content management systemExperience of working on complex tasks that are novel and ambiguousAble to create multimedia content with different toolsHandle partnering with stringent timelines for deliveriesTools such as SAP, Windchill, any CMS tool, CreoPreferred QualificationsKnowledge about Diesel, Gas engines, alarms, error codesHands-on skills in technical write up creation, 3D manual creation, animation developmentAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesAbility to read and interpret general proceduresGood oral and written communication skills.Experience of the creation of guidelinesExperience in support/lead cross-functional teams e.g. specialists, suppliers, customers, partnersOur People are our PowerWe are an equal opportunities employer.
