Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician who will have a strong background in electrical systems and equipment relevant to power generation, with hands-on experience in outage maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs.Key Responsibilities:Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment including: Motors , Switchgears (HV/LV), Transformers, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Power and control cablesExecute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks during plant outages and shutdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, SLD, and manuals.Assist in commissioning activities and support system energization in coordination with engineers.Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols, quality standards, and nuclear regulatory requirements.Document maintenance reports, work orders, and test results accurately.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including mechanical, I&C, and operations teams.Required Qualifications & Experience:Diploma / Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or installation in Power Plant projects.Minimum 1 year of experience (preferred) in a Nuclear Power Plant environment.Strong working knowledge of electrical systems such as motors, switchgears, transformers, UPS, and protection systems.Proven experience in outage/shutdown maintenance projects.We are fully GDPR compliant and take your privacy seriously.
