Key responsibilities include managing technical equipment, supporting application software, documenting operational procedures, and assisting with imaging tasks.Responds and resolves ES issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, phones, software, and any other related items.Installs and upgrades desktop, laptop, mobile device operating systems, software, hardware, and related items.Coordinates and moves staff in ES as needed, including activation of network ports, moving of hardware, new phone setup, adjustment of sit/stand as appropriate, and other related equipment.Creates and maintains IT asset inventory tracking including hardware, software, licensing, and other related items.Develops, modifies, and maintains documentation for primary and support tasks to assist management, peers, and user staff in understanding and effectively using ES resources.Performs other duties as assigned.NOTE: To view the full position description, including all of the required qualifications, copy and paste this link into your browser: https://mycsun.box.com/s/cuno8gttne03di8u89k8alx5xqrlhkrwQualificationsEquivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.Relevant education and/or experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAbility to respond and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, phones, and software.Skilled in installing and upgrading desktop, laptop, mobile device operating systems, software, hardware, and related items.Proficient in supporting application software, including performing updates and patches.Competent in coordinating and executing the movement of staff, activation of network ports, setup of new hardware, phone systems, and ergonomic adjustments.Pay, Benefits, & Work ScheduleThe university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver and more.Classification: 0480 / Technology Support Specialist / Grade 1The anticipated HIRING RATE is $4595 per month. The salary range for this classification is: $4595 - $6694 per month.HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
