Housing TV Africa is seeking a dynamic, versatile, and experienced TV Reporter with strong skills in anchoring, field reporting, and news writing.Job DescriptionThe TV Reporter will be responsible for researching, writing, presenting, and producing engaging television reports and feature stories. The role requires on-air confidence, quick thinking, and the ability to handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong editorial judgment and a deep understanding of broadcast journalism.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch, write, and report on housing, development, and socio-economic stories.Conduct live and recorded interviews with key stakeholders and newsmakers.Anchor news bulletins, special segments, and live studio discussions.Collaborate with producers, camera crews, and editors to deliver top-quality content.Generate original story ideas and follow through to production and broadcast.Maintain accuracy, fairness, and balance in all reports.Represent the station professionally during field assignments and media engagements.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years’ experience as a TV reporter, presenter, or correspondent.Proven skill in anchoring, reporting, and scriptwriting.Excellent command of spoken and written English.Ability to multitask effectively and meet strict deadlines.Creative, energetic, and ready to handle multiple roles simultaneously.Must possess strong on-camera presence and journalistic curiosity.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field.Experience covering housing, urban development, or socio-economic issues is an advantage.MUST BE BASED IN ABUJAHow to Apply Interested candidates can send their CVs to employmenthousingtv@gmail.com
