Test Automation Engineer

Let’s Build a Modern Test Automation Infrastructure Together At SAN TSG, we’re looking for a mid-level Test Automation Engineer who can design and implement end-to-end automation for web services, microservices, and modern web interfaces.This role is not limited to writing test cases — it involves building a comprehensive test automation framework that can handle both legacy SOAP Classic Web Services and modern REST / gRPC APIs, fully integrated into our CI/CD pipelines.Our goal is to evolve test automation from a simple verification tool into a core engineering discipline that accelerates software delivery and ensures long-term quality. Responsibilities• Develop web and PWA automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress• Create API test scenarios for SOAP, REST, and gRPC endpoints• Build component and integration tests using Pytest, NUnit, or Jest• Implement contract testing frameworks with Pact.io or WireMock• Integrate regression and E2E tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)• Automate test data management, mocking, and reporting processes Tools & TechnologiesPytest, NUnit, Jest, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, Postman CLI, Pact.io, WireMock, Allure, ReportPortal, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git Required Qualifications• 2–4 years of experience in test automation or QA automation• Hands-on experience with Python, C#, or TypeScript for test development• Practical knowledge of REST and SOAP API testing• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines• Familiarity with version control, mocking, and test data management Nice to Have• Experience setting up test environments on Docker & Kubernetes• Knowledge of load and performance testing (Locust, JMeter)• Understanding of BDD frameworks such as Behave, SpecFlow, or Cucumber This position is ideal for candidates who want to go beyond test writing — to build a modern, scalable test automation system from the ground up.
