Job Description

As a Test Manager - Telecom you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of telecommunications systems, particularly focusing on SDL, SDM, and IMS (fixed & mobile) environments. You will lead testing activities, manage diverse teams, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.Your role:Reviewing and assessing project deliverables to identify the correct test approach for telecommunications systems;Creating, managing, and executing comprehensive test strategies across projects, particularly for Nokia environments;Leading and managing both internal and third-party teams, onshore and offshore, fostering collaborative relationships;Ensuring requirements traceability is properly maintained within test management tools like JIRA;Providing detailed test progress reports during planning and execution phases;Managing and tracking defects throughout the testing lifecycle;Overseeing test quality and implementing quality assurance measures;Monitoring and controlling test schedules, making adjustments when necessary to meet project timelines.Your Profile:3+ years of proven experience as a Test Manager, with specific expertise in SDL, SDM, and IMS (fixed & mobile) environments, preferably on Nokia projects;Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience managing diverse teams and driving collaborative working relationships with multiple domain stakeholders;Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences;Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA and experience with requirements traceability methodologies;Experience in creating and implementing test strategies for complex telecommunications systems;Ability to manage test quality, track defects, and provide comprehensive progress reporting;Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance.
