Find out how we do that here: www.sherweb.com/about/Here's how you will contribute to the company’s successDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend components.Understand current development team’s development lifecycle, system architecture and systemic issues that could affect the quality of our products.Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities of our testing practices. Execute regression, smoke, and functional test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.Develop, integrate, configure and support test automation systems and promote their usage in development teams.Identify, log, and track software defects, ensuring clear communication with developers for resolution.Provide backup support for manual QA tasks when needed.Investigate advanced issues with developers, understanding at the same time their daily reality.Keep up to date on industry trends and best practices in software quality and automation.With the agile teams, identify key quality indicators and equip them to become autonomous at monitoring and improving those indicators.Here's what you need to have and master to get the jobBachelor’s degree in IT, computer engineering or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation testing.Proficiency in Java programming language. Python and JavaScript are good assets. Advanced and up-to-date knowledge of test automation techniques using UI Test libraries like Selenium or Playwright as well as API testing.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps). Demonstrated success in the transformation, implementation and programming of automated tests in companies.Vision and desire to innovate in a growing business environment.Influence capacity to transform ways of doing things within an existing team and leadership skills.
