Country Manager - BangladeshOur Client is a leading FMCG company in Bangladesh, committed to delivering high-quality products to consumers. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Country Manager (Business Manager) to lead our operations and drive strategic growth in the Bangladesh market. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales, profit, and market share targets.
(Must have a thourough understanding on MRP calculations and import duty calculations). Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and distribution team to ensure high performance and efficiency with the help of local business partner/s. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market trends. Manage key client and distributor relationships to strengthen the distribution network and secure long-term partnerships at national level and regional level. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management with actionable insights.
Oversee budget management for the business unit, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation. Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies. Ensure all business activities and operations comply with company policies and legal regulations. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. 05 years of proven experience in a similar managerial role within the FMCG sector. Deep understanding of the FMCG market in Dhaka and across Bangladesh. Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
