Could you play a part in helping us to achieve our ambitions?About the Job:Supporting and configuring the third-party TMS (Transport Management System) applications in the Yusen Logistics IT landscape. The tasks can consist of a new implementation, support, problem solving, training, a change, or a migration from a legacy system to Yusen’s standard system.ACCOUNTABILITIES And RESPONSIBILITY AREAComplex configuration Translation of business owners’ requirements into functional and technical TMS designs in line with Region/European guidelines. Configuration of the transport management systems. Liaising with TMS vendor or development teams when necessary to provide the input they need to create enhancements. Test functional enhancements or configuration changes. Performing system testing and providing support users during user acceptance testing. Creating simple reports/statistics based on TMS data in SQL, Crystal Report or Power BI Mapping interfaces to integrate Yusen TMS systems with customers and partners in EDI tool Lobster or APIs. Suggesting/recommending TMS improvements and innovation.Regional / EU support Helping with configuration across whole region and on European projects (as per Complex Configuration above). Evaluation of new TMS versions.IT support Main RO TMS support & actioning TMS based incidents & requests from ServiceDesk. Supporting new functions, & TMS systems like Crossdock. Training Level 1 ServiceDesk.Documentation Technical documentation and knowledge base documents. Documenting business requirements & solutions.Required Level Of Education Medium level/Secondary (University degree is not required)Relevant Experience Minimum 2-5 years, ideally moreRequired Skills Technical TMS Skills:TMS from an IT perspective (ideally Carlo by Soloplan) or any TMSTechnical Support: Capability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support.Database Awareness: Ability to work with databases (like Oracle/ SQL). Experience with DML SQL and PL/SQL or T-SQL. Analytical Skills:Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns.Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly and effectively resolve issues, searching for root cause during solving. Communication Skills:Customer Service: Ability to communicate with users and provide support.Team Collaboration: Ability to work in an IT team and effectively communicate with colleagues. Project Task Management:Time Management: Ability to effectively manage time & deadlines. Important Skills:Knowledge of any TMS System: Wiz, BY TMS, OTM, Transporeon, Manhattan TMS, Cargowise, e2Open, etc.Knowledge of service management tools: e.g. Service NowKnowledge of Transport / Logistics / Freight Forward processCOMPETENCES Independence (the TMS resource in-country, but part of wider IT Teams) Analytical (requirement gathering) Problem solving (solution definition) Hands-on technical (configuration) Team player (within IT and across transport operations) Service oriented (support internal colleagues and customers) Passionate about transport, innovation and digitalization Travel to selected sites within Romania: HO in Bucharest and Stefanesti, Ilfov Travel within Europe once or twice per year Occasional expectation for paid outside office hours support (once fully experienced, a few hours month) Fluency in Romanian and English is required for this role.What we offer.A unique opportunity to engage, drive and develop yourself in a global company.
