Could you play a part in helping us to achieve our ambitions?About the Job:Managing the WMS (Warehouse Management System) applications in the Yusen Logistics IT landscape. The management can consist of a new implementation, problem solving, training, a change, or a migration from a legacy system to the standard system.IT Translation of business process owners’ requirements into functional and technical WMS designs in line with European guidelines. Configuration of the warehouse management systems. Liaising with WMS vendor or development teams when necessary to provide the input they need to create enhancements. Test functional enhancements or configuration changes. Performing system testing and providing support during user acceptance testing. Creating reports based on WMS data. Building interfaces to integrate Yusen WMS systems with customers and partners. Evaluation of new WMS versions. Troubleshooting WMS related incidents. Suggesting/recommending WMS improvements and innovation. You are part of a rotation system for on call support outside of working hours.Documentation Technical documentation and knowledge base documents. Documenting business requirementsTraining Transferring knowledge (training) business users and IT colleagues Investing time to build up knowledge about warehouse processes and tools.Required Level Of Education Bachelor/Master degreeRelevant Experience Practical experience implementing, configuring and supporting warehouse management systemsRequired Skills Profound knowledge of warehouse processes. Good knowledge of SQL and databases. Understanding EDI and interfaces. Good WMS knowledge – Manhattan SCALE preferred. Reporting – SSRS preferred. Strong analytical skills. Good communication skills in Romanian and English, both spoken as written. Project management skills.COMPETENCES Independence. Analytical. Problem solving. Hands-on Team player Service oriented.
