Job Description

Tooling Engineer- Build the Future of FlightLocation: Georgia About the OpportunityWe’re partnering with a fast-moving aerospace company that’s redefining what’s possible in high-speed flight. They’re looking for a Tooling Engineer who can turn design ideas into real, working hardware- the fixtures, rigs, and ground systems that make production of advanced aircraft possible. This is not a CAD-only role- it’s a chance to design, build, and own complex tooling projects that directly impact how high-performance structures come together on the factory floor. What You’ll Be DoingDevelop custom tooling and ground support equipment for large, precision assemblies.Lead the process from concept sketch to fully integrated tool, working closely with manufacturing and design teams.Balance creativity and precision- your designs must hold tight tolerances, but also be adaptable and fast to build.Use laser tracking, metrology, and adjustable architectures to achieve micron-level alignment on large components.Troubleshoot, improve, and iterate quickly as projects evolve.Who You AreA hands-on engineer with a mechanical or aerospace background.Experienced in tooling, GSE, or fixture design for complex assemblies.Skilled with 3D CAD tools (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).Comfortable balancing structural integrity, manufacturability, and speed. You like owning the whole process — design, build, and see it work.Thrive in environments where progress moves fast and good ideas win.Why It’s Worth a LookYou’ll be part of a team that actually builds what it designs, no endless review loops or slow approvals. You’ll work on tooling that directly supports cutting-edge aircraft structures, surrounded by people who care more about getting hardware built than writing slides about it.If you’ve ever wanted your engineering work to leave the ground (literally), this is it.Apply with you resume and we can arrange a call!
