Job DescriptionFinance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Companys Financial Guidelines while securing engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities-driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case, which can and will be followed up on.Finance SSC > Controlling and Reporting > SBU Inventory & Service Controlling – SBU IIResponsibilitiesResponsible for complex accounting and financial analysis. Prepares reports efficiently and effectively, utilizing advanced technical financial knowledgePrepares and reviews complex standards and responds to ad hoc requests for analytics and to provide support for business profitability, case preparation, and investigation into financial performance, and is key in enabling decision supportEnsuring that management reporting for actuals, budgets/forecasts, controls, inventory reconciliation processes, and accrual management is in place and is working in preparation for SOX compliance and internal and external reporting readinessResponsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining efficient and cost-effective process controlsEngage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and qualityQualificationsBachelors Degree in any Accounting or Finance courseAt least 4 to 6 years of work experience in Controlling & Reporting or equivalent finance functionWith proficient analytical skills relevant to financial analysisTakes initiative and is self-motivated; someone effective at functioning in complex, demanding settingsKnowledge of using the ERP System. Experience in SAP is beneficialExperience in project construction or manufacturing accounting is desiredGood communication and presentation skillsBPO/Shared Service experience is beneficialFlexible in work shifting schedulesCompetenciesExposure to data quality management and keen on accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation, and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue managementKnowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition, particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)Proficient in using Microsoft Office Excel.
