Your focus at the beginning will be on Cannes and Antibes before growing to the other locations except if you already have the knowledge. There's a possibility for the person interested to participate in the company’s growth through marketing, sales, and digital initiatives. It’s perfect for an energetic individual finishing their studies or an aspiring entrepreneur eager to learn, grow, and make a lasting impact.As a Tour Guide (+optional Marketing Assistant), you’ll gain valuable skills in:Tour Operations: Delivering unforgettable guided tours in Antibes, Cannes, and occasionally other Riviera cities.Marketing & Sales: Contributing to marketing strategies, social media content, email campaigns, and partner networking.Content Creation: Writing blogs, improving website content, and engaging with our audience online.Business Development: Helping grow our public and private tours while building connections with travel agencies and partners.What We’re Looking ForRequirements:Location: You already live in Cannes or Antibes ideally or nearby or are ready to relocate to the French Riviera for quite a few years.Commitment: Mainly a part time role to start with who can maybe involved into a full-time (with flexibility). Great as a fun side job or main focus!Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, French is great. Other languages are welcome.Ideal Candidate:Experience: Having been a tour guide around the region will be a big plus. Otherwise a background in tourism, customer service, or people-facing roles is a big plus.Personality: Friendly, approachable, fun, and professional.Skills: Bonus if you’re knowledgeable in:WordPress, SEO, and newsletter.Social media management and video editing.Photography with a good eye for visuals.Physical Requirements:No specific physical required, but a general level of fitness is helpful for tours. Especially on e-bikes.CompensationContractors: Generous commission-based pay + bonuses, transportation costs partially covered*.Interns: Above-market rates, transportation costs partially covered*, bonuses on private tours and occasional perks and bonuses.Work Hours:Few on-site hours required daily, with flexibility for remote work.Seasonal intensity: busier during summer, allowing for more rest in the winter months.ResponsibilitiesLead engaging and informative tours.Deliver excellent customer service.Optional:Assist with marketing strategies and content creation.Promote and improve company sales initiatives.Collaborate with partners and build lasting relationships.Manage social media and email campaigns.Contribute to blog writing and website updates.How to ApplyDeadline: Submit your application by the end of Mars 2026 by email at career@whattodoriviera.com.
